Well hello there

Back in October Simply Betty did a month of Halloween challenges, The overall winner was chosen as a new DT member... now I didn't win (boo lol) but I was asked if I wanted to do a guest spot so here I am guesting for the simply challenged challenges...

Now it is SBS's Birthday whoop so things are gonna be different this month.. we have all picked the stamps that first drew us into simply betty stamps

Oh to be young again....

Belle has decided that she is a fairy lol...

So for her Birthday she had two fairy outfits (tinkerbelle and a fairy) as well as a nurses outfit and two princess dresses (Cinderella and snow white)- the girl loves dressing up lol...

However back to fairies... every morning she gets her 'girl' clothes on lol and before breakfast she is a fairy lol..

Hi all

I hope you are well..

We are so emotional today as it was a year today that we met Belle for the first time...

Gosh I remember how nervous we were. We parked outside the foster home for 20 odd minutes before we could go in... then when we did we were met by these amazing blue eyes and HUGE smile!!! 

That was it she was my Princess lol..

So Easter... I can't decide weather I like the chocolate or hot cross buns the most lol.. There is something about a lightly toasted hcb smothered in butter... yummy lol..

The movies...

Well hello there....

I hope the new year is starting well for you...

Here it is all about the potty training. Oh the fun... I love the fact that Belle sits on the potty for 5 minutes stands up and wee's all over the floor lol... however it is only day 2 and she is already getting better... 

So for me movies are like buses. There are non I'm interested in then... bam... several movies I am dying to see  lol. So we were lucky that one of our friends brought us a cinema experience for Christmas... that way Sam has no excuse when I want to see Les Miserables next week lol..

So that leads me onto this guy!!

Wow can you believe the big day has come and gone??

We had a wonderful day, we got up early (well it would have been earlier if I had my way - but Sam said 6am was early enough lol) and we brought Belle downstairs.... Oh her little face was such a picture.

We let her open other presents before ours so so had time to play and take it in lol... well try to anyway, then we gave her our presents. Lot's of Minnie Mouse things.... oh she was beside herself lol.. then we took her into the play room. We had set up her easel with a HUGE bow on it... lets just say - I expect LOTS of painting will be happening now lol!!

So onto today's card. It's time for the last sketch of 2012 over at Sketch Saturday

Now today is also a special woman's Birthday... Corrine - yep that's the one lol..

What do you love about Fall/ Autumn??

I love the fall.

The colours are lush... gold, red and brown are like my fave colours on the trees - which is good as we have a river covered by trees right outside lol..

I love Belle playing in the leaves.. the way she kicks them and the excitement when they crunch under her feet lol...

I love the weather when it's dry and cold. The fact you have to wrap up but you can still go out for nice walks - or to kick the ball around!!

Yep I think Autumn is my fave season!!

So I decided to make a card using my fave Autumn colours

The last day of Halloween....

Well hello..

Now you may have noticed I have played along every day of the

  13 days of Halloween over at Simply Challenged Challenges..

Well this was for two reasons..

Firstly for fun - well I do Love love love Halloween

Secondly - as you had to participate in all 13 days to be considered for a part on there amazing DT!!

Now one of the challenges was all about lighting your project and I had a wonderful idea however due to holidays I didn't have the time to make it, so I made my candle...

I have waited everyday hoping I could use my idea... well today I can. 

Now day 13 is anything goes... but you have to show how you made your creation so I have a tutorial for you lol..

Now while shopping for Halloween goodies I saw a fab Candle holder and thought.... I could do that myself..

So off I went to get 4 picture frames

Then I printed off my 4 fave images on normal paper ( cheap as chips stuff - not thick). I had to make sure that each image would fit in the frame (15x10 cm)

Then I got my copics out and coloured them up - Carefully as it is cheap thin paper so bleeds A LOT!!!

Then I added them to the frames - leaving off the back

Then its time to put it all together lol...

You could probably do it with fancy hinges to make it look prettier, but I used VERY strong glue:

Then once it is all dry you can light it lol.. no not the box - a candle!!

For safety I had a votive candle

It is so cute (but almost impossible to photo well lol)

And this fab skeleton is also from Jude n the rockers

I guess what I also like is that you can do them for any occasion or images!!
