Friends and cakes.....

One thing about being a caker (.....is that even a word???? lol..) is that when people come for tea, you have to make cupcakes lol!!

So we had some friends over on Friday evening and this is what they got:

Some vintagy style cupcake.. Vanilla but secretly filled with homemade jam (strawberry, apple and gooseberry)

And a lemon drizzle cake..

It was all yummy lol.......

A party weekend...

Well hello there...

You enjoying the weather???

I love it... and I love being a stay at home mom lol.. afternoons in the garden with the pool out lol... 

However one thing I don't love is making cakes in this heat... sweating icing is NOT good lol... but I wanted to show you some I made this weekend for a party...

and here it is on the party table!!

and then here are the cupcakes too...

Marshmallow cream, lemon meringue, mars bar, rolo, toffee popcorn and strawberry!!

and all set ready to be eaten lol..

Yummy!!!!

A 50th Birthday...

Well hello there...

It's days like this I realise just how much I love being a stay at home mom lol... playing in the garden.. going to the park... I love it!!

So today I am here to show you some 50th Cupcakes I made at the weekend..

4 flavours - Chocolate orange, raspberry, Vanilla and lemon.. yummy!!

Wedding cupcakes

The one thing I realisedwhen doing Wedding invitations is how boring doing 50-100 cards exactly the same lol...

So when I get asked to do Wedding cupcakes I like to offer a few designs lol... so here is a cupcake tower I did recently..

All vanilla with vanilla buttercream but plenty of different decorations!!

So today over at That Craft Place the theme is LOVE

So...

I took one of lovely Lisa's new hearts on stick 

and decorated it with gem hearts and flowers

then I wrote I love you on it in red glitter

Then I added some cupcakes:

Vanilla cupcakes swirled with vanilla butter cream roses..

No....... How can I be at work again??

This 1 in 3 Saturdays comes round way to often for my liking lol... I think we need to petition for Saturdays to be a no working day lol..

Oh well at least I get to blog lol...

It is Saturday so that means a new challenge over at CES

Now I am all about country style living so this would be my dream bedroom lol..

So I thought let's keep it country and 3 cards later this is my interpretation:

I tried to use all the colours in the picture lol.. and kept it quite simple (not what I am used to....) and guess what.. I love it!!
