As you may know I have my 9 year old niece staying this week.. so we have been to the cinema, had crafty days, had beauty days and a day at Thomas land and that's in 5 days lol... What on earth are we gonna do next week???

I have been poorly this week - tonsillitis - so nothing to serious but god it wiped me out!! But Belle looked after me lol.. she kept coming and giving me kisses and hugs...and stroking my face lol.. so cute...

Today we are off shopping for Belle... car seats here we come lol...

I wanna get Funky

Good morning

Well it is all done now... Yesterday our social worker came and we completed all the paperwork and reports so they are now off to panel... yikes!!!

So now we just wait (3 weeks today peeps!!)

However we have started shopping for Annabelle now lol... we have a few clothes (just couldn't help myself lol) and some baby toiletries and all the stuff for a very girly bedroom lol...

We are going to order the cotbed this weekend, along with the highchair... I am sssoooooo excited lol!!

It is funny as we have spent 2.5 years in the adoption process on courses, training and meetings and now we are matched it moves so quickly.... after speaking with the social worker we should be meeting her around 5th March!!!! woo hoo!!!!!

Well good morning..

I hope you are all well..

We are off looking for baby things today... yep we have more news...

Our social worker has told us that after the last meeting we are a definite match for a little girl, so all we have to wait for now is panel....my smile is so wide I cannot even tell you lol... She is 9 months and we should have her (all being well) within the next 10ish weeks... although they are looking for a cancellation -  hence the reason we are shopping as it could be any time - or it could be early April... but I don't care as she is coming and that is all that counts lol!!!

We did do a sneaky shop last night - baby monitor, and 2 dresses  - we couldn't help ourselves lol.. We are just sooooo excited!!!

Anyhoo's it is Saturday so that means a new challenge over at

Now if you have been over to the store recently you will know Emma has a HUGE sale on, and one of the things in the sale is brown gift bags.

Now I am a naughty crafter and I purchased some of these bags a wee while ago, but couldn't decide how to decorate them lol..

So this just seemed the perfect challenge to dig them out!!
