It's like a bus...

No post for ages then you get two at once lol.... 

It is the first of the month which means a new challenge a AHOAC, and it's Sunday so that means a new challenge at THAT CRAFT PLACE

So firstly a heck of a challenge, the theme this month is IN THE KITCHEN .... so I went literally lol...

Meet sponge Bob Square Pants the cake lol...

I made this for my nephews 4th Birthday party... he loves Sponge Bob lol!!

So I did two lol..

My card is musical (well the paper is lol)

The image is by Saturated Canary and is stocked by Lisa

as is the lush ribbon and dazzly thing lol!!

and now for one of my fave cakes ever...

I went for song - Happy Birthday to you.... 

I made all the flowers myself but did you spot the sparkly thing???

If you read my post yesterday you will know we have friends over for the weekend.

Yesterday we went to see The Lion King at the theatre.... Belle loved it... and is now singing 'oh I just can't wait to be king' lol!!

So today we are off to the Safari park..... can't wait!!

Which is sewing... faux or real. Now I don't have a sewing machine so it doodle stitching from me I am afraid!!

The felt flowers are from Sew sweet

However Lisa sells the flower die and felt so you could make your own lol..

A little bit of Mono...

No no it's nothing to serious- but it is the theme of the new challenge over at THAT CRAFT PLACE!!

Now everything I used here is from the store!!

The fabby Magnolia Tilda stamp

the lush black lace (I made the flower from the lace too)

the sparkly centre

the buttons and flower

the sentiment too (MFT- Mother sentiments)

And some of you may know but after much badgering (lol) the lovely Lisa is starting to sell cakey goodies.... 

So here is a mono cake:

A yummy chocolate sponge, filled with a chocolate buttercream and finished with chocolate ganache - a total choc dream lol...

and to keep the monochromatic theme all the flowers are made in brown colours too lol..

The flowers and butterflies are all moulds (Lisa already stocks some of these)

The pan (creating the heart gap - is by Wilton.... watch this space!!

Peppa Pig... Oink..

Well what an amazing day...

It was hot hot hot.... so we kept the shares of sun cream lotion up single handidly lol..

I will post some pics in the week but highlights were seeing Peppa and the muddy puddles (not so muddy but very wet lol)

We went to Drayton Manor yesterday and had such a fab day... although it was a little too warm for Belle lol... now today I have my parents coming so I think it will be fun in the garden and a BBQ!!

I chose Ribbon lol..

I used a super cute Maggie stamp - this is Belle and her cousin William (he is 4 soon lol)

the papers are MME boy crazy and are my fave pad ever.. so much so I am on my 3rd pad lol..

Yesterday (and today) is Gay Pride weekend in Birmingham, and while I feel proud of who I am I don't usually go to these things (well not now I am a grown up lol),

But yesterday we decided to take Belle to see the parade and to the Mommie and toddlers disco...well what a fab time we had.. Belle enjoyed herself anyway lol.. she has some moves on the dancefloor I tell ya lol..

Lol.. I could honestly... but it was all worth it. Belle had the most amazing 2nd Birthday.

We fed chicks, Belle had her own egg to bring home. She feed sheep and rode a pony.... it really was fab at the farm...

Well yesterday we had such fun... Disney on Ice is amazing anyway but thru the eyes of a child it is TRULY MAGICAL.... Belle loved every minute of it and sat so mesmerised... next it's Justin and Friends.... god help me lol..

A special day

Today is a special day for us.

We are taking Belle to be blessed at church today which is just perfect. We waited until it was official that Belle is now Annabelle Elsie-Rose Robinson, then we wanted something different for her so we picked the Churches Christingle service.
